March is here, which means spring is just around the corner!
The dark days are fading, the light is returning, and I can feel it.
Those first warm rays of sunshine in February?
They were like little promises of brighter days ahead—and I’m so ready for them.
February flew by (as it always does, hello shortest month of the year), but I really can’t believe we’re stepping into a new month AND season.
However beautiful winter has been, I’m ready to shake off the cold and step into a fresh, new season with a different kind of bright and warmth.
So, let’s dive in—here’s my March Reset Routine for 2025!
Last Month’s Goals
Health + Wellness
✔ Get back to CrossFit
✔ Do yoga before bed
✔ Have a long bath (with candles, a bath bomb and a good book)
Life
✔ Finish my self-care book
✗ Create a life planner to organize my life more
✔ Declutter the attic
Work
✔ Follow an Etsy Course
✗ 2+ posts a week on Insta
✗ Make flyers + hang them around town for tutoring
February was a whirlwind—fast, messy, and full of shifts. Some goals? Crushed them. Others? Well… let’s just say there’s room for improvement.
To start, I finally made my return to CrossFit, and it felt so good. I’m taking it slow, not pushing too hard, but moving my body again has been amazing. I did do yoga a few nights before bed, but I’m not quite there. It was more sporadically than consistently, and that needs to change. On the other hand, I had not one, but SEVERAL long bath nights, and let me tell you—candles, bath bombs, essential oils—it was everything.
I finished my self-care book (yay!), and I FINALLY started decluttering the attic. It’s wild how much lighter I feel now that things are sorted and sold. But my life planner? Still nonexistent. Life feels chaotic, which probably means I need it even more.
As for Work goals, I completed the Etsy course, which was exciting! But Instagram? That’s been rough. I’ve never been this inactive, and honestly, I’m so not feeling it right now. I also planned to make flyers for tutoring, but a shift in career focus changed my plans—so I poured my energy into new ideas instead (super exciting but also very scary!)
All in all definitely NOT a perfect month, but progress is progress and I’m glad with all the things I’ve managed to achieve!
Reflect & Reset Journal Prompts
Let’s dive into my March Reset Routine of 2025 with the monthly journal prompts!
What am I most proud of for accomplishing this month?
Allowing myself to change directions. I thought I had it all figured out, and was super sure about what I wanted, but then I had this huge shift and realised the way it was going didn’t feel right anymore.
Instead of obsessing over being impulsive, I realised it made sense I had this change of heart and wanted different things. I decided to trust myself and listen to my gut, and that’s what I’m doing now!
How was I feeling this month? Why?
The best way to describe it? Better.
There’s more energy, more happiness, more excitement.
Even though my motivation for work (especially Instagram) is still low, my overall mood has been lifting—and that alone is a huge shift.
What events happened this month?
Whew, where do I even start? The winter months are always packed with family events—we’re all born between December and March, so these months are a whirlwind of celebrations, parties, and gifts.
And then, of course, there was Valentine’s Day, where the man of the house completely outdid himself with the sweetest indoor picnic—rose petals, candles, the whole thing. *Swoon*
We also celebrated nine years together, which still feels surreal. I surprised him with dinner at an Italian restaurant, and we spent the evening reminiscing on all the highs and lows of these years together.
Overall, I felt so loved and happy, and that’s what made February super special.
One thing I’m grateful for that got me through the month.
Those first warm rays of sunshine and the days finally getting longer again! Feeling the sun on my face instantly lifted my mood, reminding me that brighter, lighter days are so close now.
List some things you learned this month.
- To focus on my happiness, not on carrying the weight of others’ emotions.
- That other people’s feelings and reactions are theirs, not mine to fix.
- I’m not in control of how others feel, nor am I responsible for their negativity.
If I could redo this month, what would I do differently?
Before taking action (or not taking action), I’d stop and ask myself: Who am I doing this for? Is it for me or to please others? Does it truly matter to ME? I’d check in with my own reasons, rather than automatically reacting to outside expectations.
How will I prioritize myself in March?
The theme is clear: March is about ME. How I feel, how I want to feel, what excites me, and what aligns with my values. I want to be more mindful of my “why”—not doing things for others, but for myself.
My feelings, my actions, my choices.
Highs & Lows
↗ Highs: First of all Valentine’s Day & our anniversary, I’m seriously overflowing with love! I also got back to working out, which felt incredible, and even managed to run my first 5K again for the first time since November! And lastly, the ATTIC! After months, that project is finally in motion and the cleaning and decluttering made me feel incredible and light, so that’s 1000% a big high for this month!
↘ Lows: Had several days/moments where I felt really emotional and depressed, mostly because I let myself be affected by other people’s opinions and negative feelings.
Current Obsessions
What has been my obsession this month? Well…
Stardew Valley – The Boardgame

We’ve had The Stardew Valley board game for a while, but this month, we finally got to play it with a friend who had been dying to try it.
We brought the game when we came over for dinner, and we spent the entire evening completely in it, strategizing, laughing, and working together to save the valley.
Her excitement for the game was contagious, because it made me fall in love with the game all over again.
I ended up playing it back home with my boyfriend soon after, because I just couldn’t get enough.
Safe to say, the obsession has been reignited (for both the board game as well as starting up my Switch again!

Afternoon baths
There’s just something about an afternoon bath that hits different.
Especially now that the sun is finally shining through the window again!
Several times this month, when I see those rays all over the bathroom, I get the itch to drop everything and just soak!
So around 4 p.m., when that mid-day slump creeps in, I’ve been running a bath, grabbing my book, and just letting myself exist for a while.
Spending over an hour soaking, reading, and just pressing pause for a bit has become my new favorite way to recharge.
March Goals
For March, my main focus will be on getting organized and clear—in my routines, my space, and my mindset.
Health + Wellness
♡ Do yoga before bed
♡ Stop buying junkfood
♡ Get a massage
Life
♡ Set up the home office
♡ Get my finances in order
♡ Organize the bookshelves
Work
♡ 2+ posts a week on Insta
♡ Reply to the backlog of emails
♡ Redefine my career goals
First of all, for my health and wellness, I’m keeping the goal of doing yoga before bed. I wasn’t consistent with it last month, but I always sleep better when I do, so it’s time to actually commit. I’m also challenging myself to cut out the junk food—not in a restrictive way, but just being more mindful of what I buy. And for a little extra self-care? I’m treating myself to a massage because I really need it, but also because I deserve it.
Life-wise, I’m tackling some much-needed organization: setting up the home office, so I finally have a space that feels productive and inspiring. I’m getting my finances in order, because I haven’t looked at those since December (oops). And lastly, organizing my bookshelves—because right now, they’re an absolute mess, and I need them to be aesthetically pleasing again.
For Work, I want to push myself to post twice a week on Instagram, clear my inbox (because, those unread messages are haunting me at this point), and redefine my career goals—getting clarity on what I actually want next.
Here’s to a month of resetting, refocusing, and getting things together!
My Intention for March
March is about turning inward. Instead of absorbing others’ negativity, I’m focusing on what feels right for me—what excites me, what aligns with my values. This month is about being mindful of my why, making choices that come from within, not from obligation.
Prioritizing myself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.
March Vision Board

Quote of the Month
For this month’s quote, I’m choosing the following as a reminder of the power of my own choices:
“What you allow is what will continue.”
— UNKNOWN
It’s a simple but powerful truth.
The way I let people treat me, the energy I entertain, the boundaries I set (or don’t set)—it all shapes my reality. If I want things to change, it starts with me.
March is about breaking cycles, standing firm in what I deserve, and making choices that reflect my values, not anyone else’s expectations.
So if you’ve been feeling drained by things that no longer serve you, take this as a sign: you don’t have to allow it anymore.
Listen to what your body and mind are telling you, protect your energy, and choose YOU.
