Happy April, everyone!
Spring is officially here, and it’s finally starting to feel like it!
March flew by in the blink of an eye, but it left me with so many moments to reflect on.
From big shifts to small joys, this past month has been full—and I can’t wait to dive into it all.
And for those who haven’t seen my Instagram post yet, I’ll be finally sharing a secret I’ve been keeping for MONTHS!
So let’s get into it—here’s my April Reset Routine for 2025!
Last Month’s Goals
Health + Wellness
✔ Do yoga before bed
✔ Stop buying junkfood
✔ Get a massage
Life
✔ Set up the home office
✔ Get my finances in order
✗ Organize the bookshelves
Work
✗ 2+ posts a week on Insta
✔ Reply to the backlog of emails
✔ Redefine my career goals
Oh, March—where do I even start? If I had to sum it up in one sentence, it would be this: getting as much done as possible in the time I had. And honestly? I think I did pretty damn well.
I’m especially proud of my Health & Wellness goals, and the highlight? That massage. It was exactly what I needed—so good, so relaxing, and long overdue.
On the home front, we gave the office a full makeover (new desk and all!), but the bookshelves? Yeah… still a chaotic mess. With everything else going on, color-coding my books just wasn’t top priority.
And then—work. I still can’t believe I’m saying this, but I GOT A NEW JOB! I kept it quiet the entire process because, honestly, it felt like a long shot. But it worked out, and I’m actually starting today. Safe to say that redefining my career goals was a huge success. Of course, that also meant Instagram took a backseat, but prepping for this new chapter was the real priority.
March was all about getting ready for change—and I mean big, exciting, life-shifting change. And while I didn’t check off every goal, I did so much more than the things I wrote down. And that? That’s a win in my book.
Reflect & Reset Journal Prompts
Let’s dive into my April Reset Routine of 2025 with the monthly journal prompts!
What am I most proud of for accomplishing this month?
I GOT A JOB! Honestly, I didn’t think I’d get it, but here we are. Life is about to change in the best way, and I still can’t fully wrap my head around it. Excited. Nervous. Still in shock. But so, so proud of myself.
How was I feeling this month? Why?
So. Freaking. Happy. March flew by, but it didn’t just pass—I lived every second of it. Things are falling into place, and for the first time in a while, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. That kind of everyday joy? It’s something really special.
What events happened this month?
Well, in case you missed the post about it on my Instagram, WE’RE HAVING A BABY! The secret is finally out, and I can finally share all my thoughts, feelings, and of course, way too many photos. I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and now that it’s here? It just feels so right.
One thing I’m grateful for that got me through the month.
All the sweet messages after announcing the pregnancy. The love, support, and heartfelt words have been overwhelming in the best way. This is such a special time, and knowing so many people are celebrating with us makes it even more magical.
List some things you learned this month.
That my dreams aren’t too big—I’m capable of making them happen. That means I should really start trusting myself, and doubt my actions less. The right things will always find me at the right time.
If I could redo this month, what would I do differently?
Speak up when people overstep my boundaries. Just because someone wants to do something doesn’t mean I have to be okay with it. Lesson learned, now I just need to figure out how to talk about that with said person.
How will I prioritize myself in April?
By slowing down and making space for me. There’s a lot of change happening, and I don’t want to rush through it, because I really don’t have the energy right now. That means listening to my body, setting boundaries, and actually sticking to them. No pushing myself past my limits. No overcommitting. Just intentional, mindful self-care.
Highs & Lows
↗ Highs: Finally sharing the news that I’m pregnant, and getting the job I wanted!
↘ Lows: I didn’t speak up on my thoughts & feelings in the moments when it mattered.
Current Obsessions
What has been my obsession this month? Well…
Fields of daffodils

Spring is here, and you know what that means? Daffodils. Everywhere.
I swear, every time I step outside, I spot a new patch, and it just makes me so happy.
There’s something about their bright yellow petals swaying in the breeze that feels like pure sunshine.
On my walks, I always find myself stopping to take in the view, sometimes even snapping a quick picture because—how could I not?!
They’re the reminder for me that winter is behind us, and warm, golden days are ahead.
Honestly, every year my camera roll during this month just screams “woman obsessed with daffodils”, and it will be that way forever.

Claw clips
Right now, I wear one every single day—whether I’m running errands, working, or just lounging at home. They’re cute, effortless, and make me feel put together even when I’m absolutely not.
Messy bun? Claw clip. Half-up? Claw clip. Hair that desperately needs a wash but we’re pretending it’s intentional? Claw. Clip.
I’m so happy these things are trending right now, because I don’t even know how I ever survived without those huge claw clips.
There’s a collection growing, and I’m not even mad about it.
It’s a practical obsession, okay?!
April Goals
For April, my main focus will be on getting organized and clear—in my routines, my space, and my mindset.
Health + Wellness
♡ Meal prep for the busy days
♡ Self care night each week
♡ Buy myself a present with my first pay check
Life
♡ Write in my baby journal
♡ Do an egg hunt with the family during Easter
♡ Organize the bookshelves
Work
♡ Start my new job
♡ Bond with colleagues
♡ Get collaborations for pregnancy content
Starting with Health + Wellness goals. I’m committing to a weekly self-care night to balance out the stress of all these big life changes. With a new job, a shifting routine, and so much happening, I want to make sure I intentionally slow down and give myself space to breathe. Since things are about to get busier, I’m setting a goal to meal prep for the hectic days, so I can still nourish myself without the stress of last-minute decisions. And getting that first paycheck is a BIG deal, so I’ve decided I definitely have to get myself something to celebrate!
For Life goals, I’m making it a priority to write in my baby journal more often, so I can capture all the thoughts, feelings, and moments I never want to forget. This month is also Easter, which means we’re heading over to my family and I’ve got THE BEST IDEA for a special egg hunt this year! And yes, organizing my bookshelves is still on the list—I didn’t quite finish last month, but I will get it done.
And then there’s Work—the biggest change of all. I’m officially starting my new job (!!!), and my focus is on easing into it without pressure, and taking the time to bond with my colleagues and settle in. Beyond that, I’m setting my sights on something super exciting: securing collaborations for pregnancy content. There’s so much I want to create and share about my pregnancy journey, and I’d love to partner with brands that align with it.
Here’s to a month of new beginnings, celebrations, and making space for everything that’s unfolding!
My Intention for April
April is a month of learning. Of stepping into the unknown, not with fear, but with curiosity.
So much is changing—my job, my body, my routine—and instead of resisting, I want to welcome it all.
I don’t need to have it all figured out. I don’t need to be perfect.
This month is about giving myself permission to learn as I go, to be patient with myself, and to trust that growth happens in the process—not just in the outcome.
April Vision Board

Quote of the Month
To embrace all the change & new things that are coming my way in April, this quote by Jon Acuff felt just perfect:
“Be brave enough to be bad at something new.”
— Jon Acuff
Stepping into something unfamiliar can feel overwhelming, but that doesn’t mean I’m failing—it means I’m growing.
This month is about allowing myself to be a beginner, to absorb, to learn, and to trust that I don’t have to have everything figured out right away.
If you’re stepping into something new, be gentle with yourself.
Give yourself the space to learn without judgment, to evolve without rushing.
Every great thing starts somewhere, and you are exactly where you need to be.
