Has January finally come to an end?!
I swear this month lasted at least 72 days…
The post-holiday slump, the cold and misty weather, the never-ending to-do lists that I couldn’t even be bothered to start…it was A LOT.
But at the same time, there’s something refreshing about such a slow start of the year. A chance to ease into new routines, reflect on what’s working, what I want to change, and reset with intention.
Well, February is here at last, and I’m ready for a fresh energy shift.
So, let’s dive in—here’s my February Reset Routine for 2025!
Last Month’s Goals
Health + Wellness
✔ Have a health check-up
✔ Eat enough fruit & veggies
✔ Start my bedtime routine no later than 9 pm
Life
✔ Host a High Tea for my birthday
✗ Create a life planner to organize my life more
✗ Declutter the attic
Work
✗ Follow an Etsy Course
✗ Get 3 collaborations on Insta
✗ Create good listing photo’s for all of my products
January began like a real fresh start. I finally had my health check-up, made sure I ate lots of fruit & veggies (and not just apples and broccoli!), and managed to stick to my bedtime routine almost every night. It’s amazing what a difference small, steady habits make.
My birthday high tea was EVERYTHING: good food, great company, and honestly, it was the perfect way to step into this next year. But as for my life planner and attic declutter… let’s just say the procrastination is real. These goals have been haunting me for months, and at this point, it’s impossible to ignore. February has to be the month I finally tackle them.
Work-wise, things didn’t go exactly as planned. I really put work on the back burner. I didn’t follow the Etsy course, and while I aimed for three collaborations, I landed two—not bad, but not quite the goal either. And those product photos? Still on the to-do list. But despite the misses, I’m finally feeling motivated again, so I’m just trying again next month!
All in all, I’m okay with these results. As I said in my last reset, January was about a soft launch into the new year, and I focused mostly on my own health & wellness, which was exactly what I needed.
Reflect & Reset Journal Prompts
Let’s dive into my February Reset Routine of 2025 with the monthly journal prompts!
What am I most proud of for accomplishing this month?
At first glance, it might not seem or feel like I accomplished much—but that was kind of the point. Instead of getting caught up in the “new year, new me” frenzy, I gave myself permission to ease into 2025 at a new, slow pace. And honestly? I’m proud of that. Slowing down, being present, and not forcing myself into overdrive was an accomplishment in itself.
How was I feeling this month? Why?
Three words: happy, grateful, blessed. January was overwhelming—but in the best way possible. My (physical) energy levels may have been low, but emotionally, I was on SUCH a high. This month really made me realise how incredibly thankful I am for all the love, joy, and beautiful people in my life.
What events happened this month?
If I thought December had been crazy & busy, don’t even get me started on January!
I kicked off the year with my birthday celebration—a high tea with all my favourite girls at TEDs in Utrecht. Definitely one of my best birthdays ever!
Throughout the month I saw lots of my friends and family and I know that every single one of these moments will forever be engraved in my brain.
It was an eventful month, and somehow, everything turned out even better than I imagined (which says a lot considering my high expectations for all these things I had planned!).
One thing I’m grateful for that got me through the month.
My boyfriend, Robin. He’s my rock every single day, but in January, he went above and beyond. From the little things to the big things, he showed up for me in ways that made me feel so loved and supported. I could never take that for granted, and I’m endlessly grateful for him.
List some things you learned this month.
To just let things be. Some things are out of my hands, and no amount of overthinking will change that. Trusting in the universe, and that things will unfold as they’re meant to has been a lesson I keep coming back to.
I also learned that I’ve got the most incredible group of friends and family. This past month has truly shown me how surrounded by love I actually am, and I’m feeling so incredibly blessed to have them in my life!
If I could redo this month, what would I do differently?
Stress less. I spent too much time overthinking things that, in the end, worked out just fine (okay, understatement, it worked out even better than expected). At some point, I need to accept that I’ve done what I can and just let things unfold.
How will I prioritize myself in February?
February is about moving my body again—but gently, without pressure. I want to focus on the joy of working out, not just the progress.
Instead of expecting to pick up right where I left off, I’ll meet myself where I am—knowing that things have changed since my hip injury, and that’s okay.
I’ll listen to my body, take rest when I need it, and focus on rebuilding my strength, one step at a time.
Highs & Lows
↗ Highs: Celebrating my birthday with a (gifted!) High Tea at the most adorable restaurant in Utrecht with all my girls, and seeing so many of my friends and family this month, creating memories I’ll keep with me forever.
↘ Lows: Not putting any effort into my own business this month…I’ve been working so hard on for the past year, and now I just ignored all of it for an entire month, because I’ve been highly unmotivated.
Current Obsessions
What has been my obsession this month? Well…
Matcha Lattes

Coffee, step aside—there’s a new queen in town, and her name is Matcha.
Even though I’ve been drinking matcha on and off for years, ever since January started, I’ve been hooked.
I mean, I haven’t had a single cup of coffee this entire month—and that’s saying A LOT!
There’s something about the creamy, earthy taste combined with frothed milk…it’s all I want these past few weeks!
Also, even though I like making them at home, it’s extra good when I go to one of the cute cafés in town and order them there!

Bookstore Wandering (with the besties)
Nothing beats wandering through a bookstore, getting lost in the endless shelves, and stumbling upon a book you just know is going to be your next obsession.
But doing it with my best friends? Even better.
We take our sweet time browsing through the entire store, hyping up each other’s picks or recommending our personal favourites, and end up hauling stacks of books to the counter.
And, of course, no bookstore visit is complete without grabbing a sweet treat and catching up on life.
It’s definitely become one of my new favorite traditions.
February Goals
January feels like the perfect time to hit the ground running with fresh goals and new energy for the year ahead, but I also want to start slow and not go all-in immediately and drain myself again, so these are my goals:
Health + Wellness
♡ Get back to CrossFit
♡ Do yoga before bed
♡ Have a long bath (with candles, a bath bomb and a good book)
Life
♡ Finish my self-care book
♡ Create a life planner to organize my life more
♡ Declutter the attic
Work
♡ Follow an Etsy Course
♡ 2+ posts a week on Insta
♡ Make flyers + hang them around town for tutoring
The focus this month is getting back on track—but at a slow and steady pace. For health, that means going back to CrossFit classes while also prioritizing rest through bedtime yoga and long, candlelit baths (because balance is key).
For my life goals, I can’t keep putting the same goals here month after month—it’s officially time to stop procrastinating. The life planner is getting done, and the attic is finally getting decluttered. No more pushing it off!
For work, I’m shifting from planning to action. That Etsy course? Starting it. Instagram? Posting twice a week. Tutoring? Flyers are going up around town. It’s all about taking small but intentional steps forward.
February is a mix of action and ease—getting things moving while making space to recharge, too. Let’s go!
My Intention for February
I spent January easing into the year, and now, I’m ready to step forward. February is about momentum, but the kind that feels natural—not in a rushed, frantic way. This month is about trusting the process, embracing progress over perfection, and showing up for myself in ways that feel good.
Slow, steady, but moving forward.
February Vision Board

Quote of the Month
For this month’s quote, I’m going with the following Chinese proverb that says it all:
“Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.“
— Chinese Proverb
It’s a reminder that progress isn’t about speed—it’s about movement.
February isn’t about forcing things or rushing ahead, but about steady, intentional steps forward.
The pace doesn’t matter, as long as I keep going.
So if you’ve been waiting for the “right” moment to start, take this as your sign that moving forward—no matter how slowly—is what matters most.
Slow, steady, but moving forward. Let’s make it a good one.
